Greek austerity measures
It seems tonight, that the swingeing austerity measures will be passed by the Greek parliament. The Greek PM said that without the cuts, the effect on Greece could be devastating.
Hobson’s choice, because following the rioting this evening, the post austerity cuts will in fact also be devastating. With nearly 50% youth unemployment and cuts in the minimum wage, Greece should prepare itself for further social unrest over the coming months.
