So Dwain Chambers joins a long list of sportsmen benefitting from cheating in sport.
Included amongst them are Thierry Henry (Hand of Frog) v Shay Given (Rep of Ireland), Christian Ronaldo v Wayne Rooney (England) and most famously “The Hand of God” goal ‘scored’ by Maradona v England in the FIFA World Cup Quarter Finals in 1986. And these are just a short list of footballers.
So what happens if you get caught cheating? A lifetime ban, which means what?

So what is the deterrent to cheating in sport? Nothing, by the looks of things!
The officials have technology, so use it. Ban sportsmen that cheat, whether by taking drugs or diving on the football pitch. What sort of example are they setting to youngsters?
Common sense, don’t referee sport without it!
