ds Surgical Care.

I take my hat off to people like this. Not driven by greed or money but just a desire to help.

Common sense, don’t perform an operation without it.

BBC Sport – Dwain Chambers eligible for London 2012 after court ruling.

So Dwain Chambers joins a long list of sportsmen benefitting from cheating in sport.

Included amongst them are Thierry Henry (Hand of Frog) v Shay Given (Rep of Ireland), Christian Ronaldo v Wayne Rooney (England) and most famously “The Hand of God” goal ‘scored’ by Maradona v England in the FIFA World Cup Quarter Finals in 1986. And these are just a short list of footballers.

So what happens if you get caught cheating? A lifetime ban, which means what?

So what is the deterrent to cheating in sport? Nothing, by the looks of things!

The officials have technology, so use it. Ban sportsmen that cheat, whether by taking drugs or diving on the football pitch. What sort of example are they setting to youngsters?

Common sense, don’t referee sport without it!

Would you feel safe with a missile launcher on your roof? | Poll | Comment is free | Guardian Unlimited.

It would appear, that London needs missile launchers on rooftops of buildings, to protect London during the Olympics.

If this is true you have to seriously question the logic in holding this event in London.

Common sense, don’t hold the Olympics in your city, without it.

The week started off with St George’s Day, a day for British people to celebrate being British. Sadly not much sign of this nowadays, probably not terribly PC either?

St Georges Day – Monday 23 April 2012.

Tuesday 24th, you might have been watching Chelsea beat Barcelona in the Champions League semi final but did you know this?

Wed 25th Did you catch any of these films shown on UK TV? My favorite is The Shining

Thurs 26th marked the 26th anniversary of the world’s worst nuclear disaster at the Chernobyl reactor

Friday 27th, the week ends with a siege on Tottenham Court Road. Early suggestions are that a man took hostages at an office after being refused and HGV licence. Apparently he said, he had nothing left to live for. Just a nutter or a desperate man trying to find a job? Only time will tell.
