The week started off with St George’s Day, a day for British people to celebrate being British. Sadly not much sign of this nowadays, probably not terribly PC either?

St Georges Day – Monday 23 April 2012.

Tuesday 24th, you might have been watching Chelsea beat Barcelona in the Champions League semi final but did you know this?

Wed 25th Did you catch any of these films shown on UK TV? My favorite is The Shining

Thurs 26th marked the 26th anniversary of the world’s worst nuclear disaster at the Chernobyl reactor

Friday 27th, the week ends with a siege on Tottenham Court Road. Early suggestions are that a man took hostages at an office after being refused and HGV licence. Apparently he said, he had nothing left to live for. Just a nutter or a desperate man trying to find a job? Only time will tell.

Common Sense, don’t end the week without it.
