How JP Morgan became trapped in its $1 trillion fortress – Telegraph.

Thanks to JP Morgan Chase and Jamie Dimon, everyone has been frantically heading towards the internet or to the top shelf of their bookcase to dust off their dictionaries.

Well we’ve all learnt a new word this week, so we should be grateful for that at least. As for Mr Dimon, his comments from April this year look a bit like the Greek economy, somewhat shambolic. He had previously defended the Chief Investment Officer as a “sophisticated” guardian of the bank’s funds.

Oh well, it’s only $2bn!

Common sense, don’t hedge your bets without it.
