Calendar hang every now and then: Apple Support Communities.

I wonder if anyone at Apple has a solution for this? Looking at the blogs etc etc it doesn’t seem so.

Common sense, look after your customers or eventually they won’t buy your products #apple

Here we go again, another new Apple product following hot on the heels of the successful ‘new’ iPad.

Shame that Apple have changed the connector from the old 30 pin connector to a new ‘lightening’ connector.

But wait, the thoughtful folk at Apple have come up with a Lightning to 30-pin Adapter which will set you back a modest £25.00

Also new at the Apple website is iOS6 with over 200 new features. Unfortunately as rumour has it, one of those isn’t being able to draw an accurate map with the Apple mapping software. The Google mapping app has been dispensed with presumably because Apple and Google can’t work together to make the world a better place?

So is it right to short Apple stock yet? With a market cap of over US$650 bn and sales topping 5 million iPhone 5’s on the first weekend, probably not.

ECB’s Nowotny calls for high-frequency trade ban | Reuters.

In an unprecedented act of common sense, Nowotny calls for a ban on HFT. It’s just a shame that he doesn’t have any power to implement the ban.

However, hopefully if the ban is put in place, it will end years of unregulated front running and cheating by investment banks and the now extinct Prop books.

EE confirms 4G super-fast mobile network ‘within weeks’ – Telegraph.

In an exciting advance in technology, 16 cities in the UK will soon have access to 4g technology.
From what I understand this will allow me to download “stuff” onto my phone 5 times faster than under current 3g technology.

Needless to say this new technology won’t work on my ‘old school’ 3g phone. Anyway as I said, I’ve got a 3g phone but most of the time it doesn’t seem to work all that well and I’m not about to go out and buy a 4g phone to download a film of other stuff.

After all why would I want to watch a film on my £500 5-8 inch phone when I can go home and watch it on my 60 inch LCD TV which I can buy for less than £1200

Common sense, stick to 3g and get home sooner!

Bankia to get emergency funds by mid-September

Bankia to get emergency funds by mid-September.

Oh dear oh dear.

Another Euro 5bn of taxpayer funds disappearing down a black hole. The shambles that is the euro crisis lingers on and on.

The solution?

Break up the euro currency. Let diverging economies diverge again.

Nationalise the banking system, stick all the rubbish loans into a bad bank for our great great great great grandchildren to sort out.

No chance of this happening anytime soon because apparently the break up of the Euro will be a disaster for us all. Alternatively, the euro could remain and Germany could just leave?
