Extension to add €15bn to Greek bailout: Extending Greece’s bailout by two years will force international lenders to come up with €15bn in new financing for Athens by 2014 and as much as €32.6bn through 2016, according to a draft report prepared for eurozone finance ministers on Monday. The report, which is not yet final, warned that without extending the €174bn bailout by two years, Athens would have been forced to find €20.7bn in austerity measures instead of the €13.5bn passed by the Greek
parliament last week. Still, the report says Greece will have to come up with €4bn in additional austerity measures for 2015-16. (Financial Times) (FT Brussels blog)
